Los Diablos stands on the ruins of what was once Los Angeles. After the devastating earthquake 'The Big One' swept everything away, it became the heart of the 'Free West Territory', untouched by the Federation. Corporations rule the land, and its back alleys seethe with desire. In this chaotic city where superpowered 'Boosts' and machine-human 'Mods' mingle, you can be the hero, the villain, or whatever you like.

You can choose the point in time to start the story, whether you're Sidestep, and how much of the backstory to have.

Fixed setting if you are Sidestep

If you are the original protagonist 'Sidestep', the following settings will be applied by default.

• Identity: Telepath. 'Re-Gene (a super soldier produced by the US)', who used to be a vigilante called 'Sidestep'.
• Appearance: Orange (color can be changed) industrial-style full body tattoos that cannot be removed.
• Telepathy: Versatile and powerful alpha-level psychic abilities such as reading and manipulating minds, creating hallucinations, and controlling senses.
• Possession: Controlling the bodies of others using telepathy. Your real body is defenseless while using it.

• 2008: Debuted as Vigilante Sidestep.
• 2011: Solved the Nanosurge incident, where rogue nanomachines that devour organic matter broke out.
• 2013: You are presumed dead after resolving the incident where 300 people died due to the outburst of a powerful psychic.
• 2017: In reality, you were taken back to the 'farm'. Escaped and return to Los Diablos.
• 2020 onwards: In the original work, he considers it a betrayal that he was not saved by his former associates and begins to seek revenge.
