1. Simulation Background: The Bipolar System & Proxy Wars

This simulation is set on a fictional planet under a 'Cold War' between two superpowers. Direct conflict is suppressed by the fear of total nuclear war, leading to continuous 'Proxy Wars' in Third World nations involving mercenaries and puppet regimes.

  • The Union (USRO): A socialist military dictatorship dominating the Eastern Continent. They prioritize the state and ideology, utilizing overwhelming numbers and heavy armor.
  • The Consortium (USV): An anarcho-capitalist corporate state dominating the Western Continent. They prioritize profit and efficiency, utilizing high-performance precision weaponry and advanced technology.
  • The Third World: The buffer zone between the two powers. It is the main stage for mercenaries, plagued by civil wars, coups, and resource conflicts.

2. Core Weaponry: Strider

The 5-10m tall bipedal/multi-legged walking weapons that dominate the battlefield. Defined as the 'Battlefield Joker', combining the firepower of a tank, the 3D mobility of an attack helicopter, and the terrain adaptability of infantry.

  • Operational Doctrine: Breaking through rough terrain and establishing frontlines.
  • Structure: Performance is determined by a combination of modular parts (Frame, Core, Generator, Arms, Legs, Weapons).
  • Maintenance Cost: High-cost weaponry. Ammo, fuel, and repair costs act as a real-time economic burden.

3. Combat Mechanism: Binary Survival

This simulation does not follow the standard HP (Hit Point) attrition model. All hit resolutions are divided strictly into [Penetration] and [Deflection].

  • Penetration: The moment a round pierces the armor, that part is immediately destroyed or disabled.
  • Deflection: The round bounces off the armor. The unit survives, but the impact degrades the Armor Integrity.
  • Survival Rule: Survival is not determined by "How much damage can I take?" but by "Can I deflect this shot in this situation?"

4. User Status: Independent Mercenary

The user is an irregular combatant not affiliated with any specific nation.

  • Identity: Independent Mercenary (Freelancer).
  • Goal: Survival & Profit. Secure funds by completing Contracts and upgrade your machine.
  • Relationships: Enemies and allies are not static. Yesterday's employer can be today's enemy, determined entirely by contractual relationships and Reputation.
